Ashbourne

  • Ashbourne Royal Shrovetide Football – Tue 17 – Wed 18 Feb 2026, 2pm – late, centuries-old, town-wide game played over two days, where hundreds compete in a thrilling, no-rules match between the Up’ards and Down’ards.
  • Makers Market – Second and last Saturday of each month. A haven of handmade gifts, antiques, local produce, fresh bakes and lots more. This is a free event and is located on Shawcroft car park in the heart of the town centre.

Belper

  • Belper Farmers Market – Second Saturday of each month. Held on Belper’s historic Market Place from 8.30am – 1pm. This is a quality market showcasing fine foods and goods from around the County.
